Your heart beat
under my gentle palm.
The sensation is new to my hand,
yet it feels so natural.
The beat rises as my hand lowers.
The body predicts perfectly the sensations soon to follow.
Your eyes widen
with eagerness and longing. The thought of my hand somewhere personal sends your mind far into madness.
Each drop flows covering the skin smoothly.
A constant stream providing warmth,
adding to the joy also.
The drum races to the rhythm of the moment.

The first day I saw you,
My face lit up.
Your pink fur.
Your blank stare.
Your soft hugs.
I never wanted to let you go.
I never dreamed of tossing you away.
The rips don't end my love.
The age doesn't make me forget.
Even now,
while in poetry, my mind rests with you.
Gathering dust.
And reliving memories.

I feel like my heart was torn. Ripped apart across the seas.
I can't even find a scrap anymore.
Why does it hurt?
Why am I feeling this way?
Why do tears burn my face?
I think it's the loss.
No friend to help me.
Only a knife in my back from the betrayal.
Maybe it's the lies.
The worries brought to life.
The fact that even words mean nothing now.
Wait, I know.
It's the silence.
The deepest cut of them all.
The nothing that tells me everything.
I am now worthles
